Engineering

ERI specializes in a full range of engineering and logistics disciplines. Our engineering professionals use methodologies and state-of-the-art technical tools to insure adherence to stringent engineering standards and maximum productivity. ERI is affiliated with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), the International Test and Evaluation Association (ITEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), and the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE). ERI uses proven methods and introduces new creative and economical strategies to satisfy customer needs. The end result is an intelligent fit for the customer organization's technical requirements and operational needs.

Systems Engineering

The ERI system engineering Group is comprised of engineers with in-depth experience in system analysis, research, design, development, test, evaluation, and implementation.

Our professional team of degreed Systems Engineers has been successfully supporting test, information, and communication systems development efforts for military organizations. Our accomplishments range from conceptual design to implementation and final operations capability.

Team efforts were instrumental in the enhancement of the U.S. Air Force and the U. S. Navy, Microwave Communications and Telemetry Systems throughout the Southeast United States.

Additionally, ERI Systems Engineers designed, developed, and implemented a simulation system to support U.S. Army Test and Evaluation efforts at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in New Mexico.

Configuration and Data Management

The ERI configuration and Data Management Group is comprised of highly skilled individuals with in depth experience in configuration and data management technologies.

Our team co-ordinates, monitors, and supports contracts and project development activities between the military and numerous commercial entities.

Working closely with project engineers, logisticians, and contracts personnel, we support U.S. Government originated as well as Contractor or Other Activity Configuration Management Actions.

We support and utilize the National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management: (EIA/IS-649) to ensure a consistent process between customers.

The configuration and Data Management Group utilizes several military standards including: Configuration Management Standard (MIL-STD-973), Engineering Drawing Practices Standard (MIL-STD-100) and the General Specification for Technical Data Packages (MIL-DTL-31000).

Data Control

Utilizing our comprehensive data handling and data storage techniques, the ERI Engineering Technical Library Group processes, stores, maintains, and disseminates a wide variety of military and commercial information. Several U.S. Navy operations directorates are supported by our group' these functions are: NAWC-PHD, NAVSEA, and SPAWAR.

Data and information stored in soft and hard media types using secure and non-secure configurations. Storage formats include but are not limited to : diskettes, CD-ROMS, high capacity magnetic tapes, and removable hard disk drives.

Data can also be stored as paper technical documents and database tracking files.

Working closely with customer requirements we can setup a uniquely tailored storage and retrieval system satisfying a wide range of specifications and cost considerations.

Our selection of appropriate storage and data control systems ensures efficient task accomplishment and customer satisfaction in all aspects of data storage and retrieval. In addition, data and information concerning foreign military sales are also handled by the Engineering Technical Library.

Information Technology

The ERI Information Technology Team is comprised of engineers with in-depth experience, providing expertise in communications and information science technologies to an extensive customer base.

Our team performs research and development, provides systems analysis, IT system software and hardware design, and project implementation planning and oversight for military and commercial entities.

This skilled IT team has been successful in supporting NAWCWD, China Lake and Point Mugu, in the areas of virtual wireless and broadband communication operating systems management, automated program management data collection, real time analysis and transfer.

From conceptual models and architecture development, to final operational capabilities, we provide a wide range of services for military and homeland security processes.

Program Management Support

Utilizing our in-depth experience and strong program management skills, the ERI Program Office Support Group is successful developing, supporting, and managing a comprehensive assortment of program office tasks for military and commercial clients. Working closely with various senior DoD Program Managers, Lead-Engineers, and Financial personnel, our multi-discipled group is aligned to compliment and satisfy an extensive assortment of high-demand customer requirements.

Our selection of the appropriate computer systems and data management tools ensures that we can accomplish our tasking and satisfy all aspects of a successful project.

Support Service

ERI has concurrent and completed support activities for Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Naval Surface Warfare Center's Port Hueneme Division (PHD). We are currently providing more than 80 technical and administrative support personnel for several U.S. Navy contracts.

Technical Publications

The ERI Technical Publications Group is made up of individuals with applied engineering and technical backgrounds. Among the Group's assets are decades of hands-on experience in the hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) disciplines of the U.S. Navy including engineering drawing and electronic schematic utilization. Our composite professional writing expertise and capabilities stem from completed tasking in technical documentation of weapons systems and general logistics support:
